Tuesday, Jumbo, an elephant belonging to a circus which Arrived at Lytfcelton this morning, amused himaalf onthe pasaago down last < night by lifting off the of one of the after holds of the Wahine and dropping them down the hold on top of two cages which contained lions and jaguars. The roof of one Of the cages w&i slightly daroaged and one of tho wheqk was badly damaged. Not siatisfiad with this Jumbo lifted the heavy girder whi«ih win across tho centre of the hatch and dropped that down the hatchway as well. .
