An exceptionally small list of cases was heard in the Police Court yesterday. William Bruce, aged 23, and Leonard Tozer, aged 27, admitted fighting in Victoria Street on Monday. David Allan, aged 26, also pleaded guilty to obstructing Constable Tierney in the execution of his duty. , Senior-Sergeant Edwards said that Bruce and Tozer were seen fighting at about 6,30 p.m. When the constable went to arrest- them Allan interfered, enabling Tozer to get away. The Magistrate, Mr. Poynton, said there was no excuse for interfering with tße- police. To'zor and Bruce were eaoh fined £1 with costs, while Allan was fined £2 with costs.
