NEW METHODIST CHURCH.
, - .y, rBUILDING AT VAUXHALL. OFFICIAL OPENING TO-DAY. The official opening of the new Vauxhall Methodist Church, in Old Lake Road, Devonport, which was built largely liy voluntary labour, will take place this afternoon at three o'clock. ' The ceremony will be performed by tho Rev. J. E, Parsons, Tho Rev. E. Drake, chairman of the district, the Rev. Dr. C. H. Laws, Mr. T. Lamont, Mayor of Devonport, and Mr. F. Soustcr, honorary architect, will also take part in the service. , ; The chijrch, which is constructed of concrete, blocks and rough-cast, is Q a handsome, building and should be a,great to .the'district. Afternoon tea,.will bq provided for visitors by a ladies' committeq. - . . v ■ , . --
