YOUTH'S RACING STUD.

EXTRAORDINARY STORY.

An extraordinary Turf scory is reported from Prague. A 17-year-old pupil at a commercial school organised a stud of 23 racehorses. Ho acted as director and general manager. Besides the school-vouth, the board of directors consisted of a Czecho-Slovak politician, a banker, a barber, a chimneysweep, a joiner, and a laundryman. It is said the enterprising school lad secured considerable sums for the purchase of pedigree horses; but. instead of buying, he received borrowed steeds from Ji'|o-Slavia, and used the money for him* Some of the horses belonging to the establishment got as far as the startingpoint at the races; but they did net get much farther. When the "stud" was sold by auction, it fetched about 4d per pound gross weight.
