RADIO IN AUSTRALIA.
NEW BROADCASTING STATION A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Sept. 16. The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. J. T. Lang, apnounces that the Government proposes to. establish a State wireless broadcasting station on the lines of the Queensland station. Mr. Lang stated that the scheme will provide for the establishment of relay stations in various country centres, which will enable people with small sets at a long distance from Sydney to listen-in.
