TROUBLESOME COMMUNISTS
DEMONSTRATION QUELLED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. The Greenock Trades Council attempted to hold a demonstration, despite the magistrate's prohibition. The arrest of the chairman of the Trades Council, a Communist member of the Town Council, and four others, quickly ended the proceedings.
