WORLD'S OLDEST MAN.
TURK 149 YEARS OF AGE. MARRIED ELEVEN TIMES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE. Sep. 14 Zaro Agha, who is stated' to be 149 years of age, and who is reputed to be the oldest man alive, has gleefully accepted an offer' from the Constantinople authorities to join the staff of the guards of one of the Imperial palaces. Agha enjoys extraordinary health, though his doctor has compelled him to give up travelling. He is much annoyed at this direction. He declares that there would not be much wrong with him if he had not been compelled to eat large quantities of macaroni in Italy recently. The veteran has been married 11 times. His present wife is 27 years of age. Tho only member of his family who gives any trouble is a son aged 93, who thinks that he is too old to earn his own iiving.
Agha says, that he does not see why he should keep his son. "If I can get a job," he says, " he can."
