SPAHLINGER VACCINE.
PROPOSED TFST ON CALVES. EXPERIMENTS IN ENGLAND. Australian and N.Z, Cable Association, (ilocd. 10.30 p.m.) GENEVA. Sept. 14. Professor Spahlinger has undertaken to provide a partial supply of serum for the bovine tubercular tests which it is proposed to, carry out at Crewe, England. Tri connection with the project to establish a Spahluigfii' Institute at Crewe, tho committee has arranged to apply bovine vaccine to 20 calves next month. Three months later these, and five unvacciriated calves, wi.l be inocu lated with the bacilli of tuberculosis. Subsequently som'2 of both sections Hill be killed for post-mortem observation. It is considered 'that if the vaccine proves to be beneficial to animals, i« will probably be also beneficial .0 human beings.
