MOTOR-CYCLIST'S ESCAPE. ABRASIONS AND SHAKING.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J HAMILTON. Saturday. A miraculous escape from death was experienced by a young motor-cyclist, William Westropp, when his cycle crashed into the rear portion of the southbound Main Trunk express at the Killarney Road level crossing, south of Frankton Junction, just before 11 o'clock last evening. The motor-cycle was completely wrecked, but Westropp escaped wit' minor rbrasions and a severe shaking. He was taken to a neighbouring house, where first a'id was rendered, and was later removed to .the Waikato Hospital, where he is reported to be making satisfactory progress.
