GAS POISONING CASE.
OPENING OF THE INQUEST. An inquest was opened yesterday before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., Coroner, concerning the death of Rep;. R. Oakley, married, aged about 30. well-known "as an amateur magician, whose body was found in his flat in St. Paul's Street, on Monday evening. After evidence had been * given by another lodger that ho found the body lying near a gas tube with the gas turned on, the inquest was adjourned until tomorrow.
