White Comet is very well. Erie hit out in fine style in a vrorking Cuiiop oi a mile. A. McDonald rodo Puwhoro over throo fences, and later gave Uncle Darvo a similar task Both horses jumped welL Killocra was going on nicely in flront of Mnsical and Pompey after running tux furlongs in lru 24 4-us. Boadice.i was given an easy hjdf-mile, in which Bhe moved freely, Moorlaud ran tho last six of coven furlongs in lm M 3-us. but he> was not doing his best. Anticipate beat Kuhio tnd Bhie Pester over six furlongs in lm 255. Anticipate pleased greatly. He will be M. McG'artan's mount in tho Winter Cup. Tenterfield galloped seven well. Trespass tv.dl Blue Hall jumped three hurdlos in good style. while Cashuian and North Inch pleased in negotiating four flights. Penury Rose went well in a working gallop once round. He appears to flaw tocoyored from tho mishap that came to him while contesting at 1110 Christchurch Hunt Meeting. Most of the candidates for jumping races wero given strong pace work. The tracks were firm this morning, and in view of tho interruptions of the pnevious couple of days many trainers wesre glad of tho chauco to do some work. Thciro was practically no rein, but the ga.lo of wind right off tho snow cut like a knifa Tiff finished up * strong round with a half-mile sprint. He is in good order, and may bo worth keeoing in mind. Mftunga wont well over two rounds, and is coming strongly into favour for the Grind National liurdlo3. Nr.ktimai went about three miles at half to threequarter pnee, moving fre-dy. Run Up took lm for a half-mile. White Comet rc-11 half a mile under » 7>ull. He makes friends every time ho gallops. Tarleton did a working gallop of a mile. ITeisler and Volant run an easy halfrnilo. Rohutai wont twice round at fhreo- , quarter pace. Erio hit out well over a mile soul aquarter, doing tho last half-mile in Gls. She is in good fettle. Passin' Through did a round on tho sand, and Chnrlntan went about threo miles on the grass nt a strong pace. Boadicea wan anxious to go faster in a half-mile sprint. Chickwbeat and Sartist wero together at the ond of Imlf tv mile in G7-2-3s. They are both very well. Kilfane did a working gallop. Santiago went twice round at half pact.
