" BATTLING " SIKI STABBED.

NOW IN SERIOUS CONDITION.

The heavy-weight pugilist, "Battling" Siki, Carpentier's conqueror, is lying in a serious condition in hospital as the result of a knifo wound in tho nesk.

Siki was found lying on the footpath in the section of the city known as "Hell's Kitchen." Ho was unconscious from loss of blood.

So far tho polico have not been able to obtain a statement from tho injured man.
