SEA'S REOPEN TUNNEL.
CLOSED FOR A DECADE. The tunnel under tho lonely hill near Tongoio, Hawko's Bay, constructed with tho object of freeing tho district from flood waters, has boon reopened by the action of tho late heavy seas, afb;r baing closed for over a decade. Tho effect of tho opening has been beneficial to Tongoio, where tho residents havo been freed ixoai the threats of a serious flood.
