CATHEDRAL ROBBED.
SAINT PETER'S IN ROME. COLOSSAL EMERALD STOLEN. Australian and N.Z.. Cablo Association. (Rccd. 5.5 p.m.) ROME, July 5. ■Thieves broke into tho treasuro room of Saint Peter's Cathedral and stole a quantity of valuables. These aro said to have included the ring of Saint Peter, which contains a colossal emerald of incalculable money value.
