WATERLOO BRIDGE.
PROPOSED DEMOLITION. EFFORT TO PRESERVE STRUCTURE Australian arid N.Z. Cablo Association. (Kecd. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. July 3. A number of societies which aro anxious to preserve Waterloo Bridge, including the Royal Academy and tho Institute of British Architects, have sent to the London County Council a report prepared by a group of engineers under Sir Wilfred Stokes. This strongly advocates tho underpinning and repairing of the bridge in preference to the decision of the committee of tho council to replace it with a new structure
