J. Roberta, were" convicted of wilful disobedience to the lawful command of the commander id refusing to get up steam to take tho vessel to sea, the refusal being based on the ground that no trimmers were on board, and the voyage to Sydney, therefore, was too arduous. The magistrate, Mr. Meldrum, said that the men, when signing on, knew tb.e conditions. As they persisted in their refusal he would impose a mouth's imprisonment each.
