SHIP'S FIREMAN SCALDED.

POT OF BOILING TEA. POLICE EFFECT ARREST. Suffering from scalds on the face and chest, Mr. Robert Kennedy, a fireman on the steamer Wanaka, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital at about 11 o'clock on Saturday morning. It is alleged that a teapotful of boiling tea was thrown over him during an argument in the ship's galley. In connection with the incident a man has been arrested and will bo charged in the Police Court this morning.
