MOKAU RIVER BRIDGE.
STEEL SPANS FROM ENGLAND. EARLY DELIVERY ORDER. [BIT TBLEORAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT. I NEW PLYMOUTH. Sunday. Contracts totalling over £6OOO have been let to a British firm through their New Zealand agents for the construction of tho steel work required for the bridge across the Mokau River. It is stipulated that four spans are to be delivered within four months and the rest by March 31 of next year. It is hoped to have the pile work of the bridge ready to receive the steel spans on delivery.
