POLICEMAN AND HIS QUARRY. When two constables undertook to move on a crowd of noisy youths in Melbourne lately they wore not to know where their zeal would lead there. Ono youth thought to dodge tho police by running into the local church. He filed into an empty pew, with a constable hot on his heels. The mid-week service was in full swing, so ono of the constables sat in a seat alongside the lad. An old lady in front of the pair gave them each a hymn-book, and they sat the service out. Tho sermon was " Love your enemies." t
