BIRKENHEAD INTERESTS.
THE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION. Tho annual meeting of the Birkenhead Business Association was presided over by Mr. R. E. Walker. It wds decided to write to the Chief Postmaster at Auckland drawing attention to unnecessary delay in the delivery of the morning mail and to ask that the mail now closing at 1.45 p.m. be closed earlier to enable it to catch the afternoon delivery in tho city. Mr. R. 0. White was elected chairman and Mr. G. Jasper secretary.
