EMPIRE MIGRATION.
SCHEME FOR FOSTERING. SERVICE LEAGUE TO ASSIST. (Received G. 5 p.m.) Bcuter. OTTAWA. July 12. At the conference of the Empire Service League of War Veterans to-day a sub-committee's report, submitted by Mr. Bussell (New Zealand), was adopted. Under this the league undertakes to establish a migration department at an estimated cost for maintenance of £2S,OCX) a year, in order to foster migration within the Empire. The headquarters of the department will be in London.
