RUN DOWN BY CAR.
THREE PEDESTRIANS HURT. ACCIDENT ON THE PLAINS. [BX TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] THAMES. Saturday. A motor-car driven by Mr. Nicholson ran into three pedestrians, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Davies and a friend, on tho Wharo-poa-Kerepeehi Road last evening. Mrs. Davies and her friend were brought to tho Thames to the hospital. Mr. Davies sustained concussion of the brain, and could not be sent to the hospital. Mrs. Davies had a leg broken, and fcer friend a broken bone in one foot.
