WEDDING.

"A pretty wedding took place in Mount Eden Presbyterian Church on the evening of April 30 between Miss Bertha Smith, fourth daughter of Mrs. J. Smith, Mount Eden, and Mr. James Forest, also of Mount Eden. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. L. «Hurit. Tho bride, who entered tho church on tho arm of her brother, Mr. G. S. Shaw, of Mangcre, was attended by, her sister, Miss Edna Smith, while Mi 1 . A. Crombie supported the groom. Tho bride wore a, lovely gown of ivory georgette, with (sleeves and panels of _ fine net, beautifully- embroidered in silver thread. Her long veil was surmounted by a brilliant studded coronet, caught at each Bide with a spray of orange blossom, An armful of white chrysanthemums, tied with ivory satin streamers, completed a lovely toiletto. Tho bridesmaid woro a simple frock of sunset crepe do chine, with a wreath of autumn leaves and (lowers round a low waist line, and a shoulder posy to match. She wore a black hat and carried a .bouquet ol jsnlumn-tinted chrysanthemums and ziagjas, with streamers of sunset tulle.
