AN OFFICER FROM ADELAIDE. SHOOTING CASE ON STEAMER. ' ' COLOMBO, May 29. While the steamer Moldavia, now on her way to England, was in Colombo harbour this morning, Captain C. Lay, an army officer who joined the ship at Adelaide, was found lying on the floor of his cabin suffering from gunshot wounds in the face. A shotgun was lying beside Captain Lay in a pool 6f blood. He was conveyed to hospital, where he succumbed later.
