Because New Zealand butter is better than American, the demand for our Dominion product in increasing in the United States. This is militating against the interests of the American Farmers, with the result that the Federal Tariff Commission has been asked to recommend an increase in the duty on New Zealand butter from 8 cents to 12 cents per lb. Professor Mackin, of the University of Wisconsin, in giving evidence before the Tariff Commission, said he spent three months in 1924 in New Zealand, where he studied dairying methods. He was convinced the butter producers of that Dominion were far ahead of Americans as regards modern producing and business methods. The New Zealand producers were, therefore, able to make butter at lower cost than was possible in the United States. If this extra tariff of 4 cents per lb. is added it will probably seriously affect our export of butter to the United States. However, with their acknowledged superiority in producing and business methods, New Zealand farmers will no doubt face the position and overcome the difficulties raised by the unfair methods of their competitors. In the same way that New Zealand butter is superior to American, so the Morris Cars are built of the highest grade British materials, in well-equipped modern factories. The Morris policy is Nothing but the best ih Men, Methods and Materials." The Cars are built to give absolutely dependable service under all conditions, and are particularly suited to the roads and so-called roads throughout New Zealand. They are non-rattle Cars, every nut is tight and the finicky inspection each Car is given before leaving the works ensures that every last detail is perfect. When you buy a Morris, you buy a Car that will give you care-free motoring service. While Morris Cars are in the high-grade list so far as quality is concerned, they are in the cheap class when it comes to price. Prices of New Morris Models.
