At the meeting of tho New Zealand Trottins Association, held last week, a communioation was received from the New Brighton Trotting Club to the effoct that it had decided to discontinue iho New Zealand Derby, and, furtlier, that the Canterbury Park Trotting Club had ameed to, tuko over tho race ni question.
