VERDICT AT THE INQUEST, [BY TEIEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] • HAETIHI, Tuesday. An inquest was opened yesterday concorning the deaths of the victims of tho fatal fire that occurred on Sunday morning in Pipiriki Road. Evidence was given by William Pine, Thomas Workm, ji Dr. Feltham and Constablo, McCo\va.n and a verdict was returned "that the deceased, Jane Ann Pine and lan Pirie, met with death by being accidentally burned in the destruction of a house by fire on May 17, . at Mamroihe, tihi."
