POSITION IN DUNEDIN. REDUCTION NOT LIKELY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN. Sunday. From inquiries made yesterday morning there does not appear to be any likelihood of there being a reduction in the price of bread in Dunedin, following on the reduction of £1 a ton in the price of flour. The 41b. loaf is sold here at Is cash over the counter and Is Id delivered. Local bakers have to pay £lB 10s a ton for flour. DECISION IN CANTERBURY. ONE HALFPENNY REDUCTION. [by telegraph.—press association.] CHRISTCHURCH. Sunday. Following on the reduction in the price of flour the Canterbury Master Bakers' Association-has decided to reduce the price of bread by one halfpenny on the 41b. loaf. The present price of the loaf is Is Id cash over (he counter or Is 2d delivered.
