MAKURA. The Royal Mail steamer Makura was scheduled to leave Vancouver yesterday with passengers, mails and cargo for Honolulu. Suva. Auckland and Sydney. The vessel via due at this port on March 30 and at Sydney on April 4. WAIMARINO REPLACES WHANGAPE. The Waimarino is to load at Oamaru and Lyttelton for Auckland in place of the Whangape. She leaves Lyttelton on Saturday and will call at Picton instead of the Corinna, which was to have loaded at that port for Onehunga. THE NEW ORONSAY. An arrival at Fremantle yesterday was the new Orient liner Oronsay from London. The vessel is on her maiden voyage and she is the second of the new 20.000-ton steamers of the line for the Australian mail service. WANAKA TO LOAD FOR AUCKLAND. The Wanaka has been fixed to load for Auckland at Dunedin on March 17 and afterwards at Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at this port about March 25. THE TASMANIA. The Royal Mail steamer Aorangi sails from Sydney to-day for Auckland, Suva. Honolulu *nd Vancouver. She is duo at this port about March 28. COLLIERS FROM WESTPORT. The Rnkanoa arrived from Weatport last night and berthed at the King's, Wharf to discharge her cargo of coal. She is to leave Auckland on Saturday for a port not announced. The Kakapo and the Kaimanawa were both despatched from Westport late on Tuesday night with cargofvs of coal for .Auckland. They are due to-morrow evening TURAKINA DUE SATURDAY NIGHT. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received a wireless report from the steamer Turakina stating that she will arrive at Auckland from London at 10 p.m. on Saturday. Tho vessel's cargo is for discharge ftt Auckland, Napier and Port Chalmers. A Urge quantity of tho cargo will be discharged at this port, and the vessel will then go to Opua to commence loading for J.er return voyage. *■ WAITBMATA IN PORT. An arrival, at Auckland yesterday afternoon was the Union Company's trans-Pacific steamer Waitemata, with about 10,000 tons of cargo, mostly case oil. as well as a quantity of timber, bitumen and general merchandise from San Francisco. The vessel berthed at tho Queen's Wharf to discharge nearly 2000, tons, including about. 4000 cases of oil. San Francisco was the only loading port. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer lekoa, which completed loading meat, dairy produce and general cargo at Auckland, was despatched for London, via 1 anama, at 7 a.m. yesterday. THE NEW SCOW ALWIN. The new dock scow Alwin, which has just been completed by Mr. D. Darroch, at Stanley Bay for Captain A. Glass, is to berth this morning at the Prince's Wharf to have her masts fitted. THE DANE KONG K. The Danish auxiliary schooner Danekonge came put of dock- yesterday and afterwards replenished her oil fuel from the store ship Wanganui. To-day the Danekonge sails for Australia to load a cargo of wheat for Europe. PORT HUNTER AT HULL. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lin© sjeamer Port Hunter, which sailed from Wellington on January 17, arrived at Hull via London, on Monday. THE PORT "WELLINGTON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port Wellington arrived at Colon on Monday, en route from London to Wellington, Dunedin, New Plymouth and Nelson. THE MAHENO. Tho Maheno is timed to leavo Auckland at 11 a.m. to-morrow with passengers, mails and cargo for Sydney. The Union Company advises that the vessel is scheduled to leave Auckland for Sydney at 5 p.m. 011 Thursday, April 9, instead of April 10, which is Good Friday. THE CITY OF MADRAS. Tho A. and A. Lino's chartered steamer Gity of Madras, en route from New York arrived at Norfolk, Virginia, on Monday, the vessel has a cargo of case oil and general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, W anganui.
