Trouble on the waterfront! We seem to have heard of that, before. This week's issue of the N.Z. Observer, the Dominion's brightest and best illustrated weekly, deals with the recent trouble on the waterfront. Other articles deal with young New Zealand in politics, the awakening of the railway Rip Van Winkle and cricket in Australia. Cartoons by " Bio " include ono which depicts the attitude of the Reform and Liberal towards the Labour Party; "Dairy Control," a "motion" picture, "Irritating bites at the waterside," and "A fresh fish fable from the Far North." There is an illustrated page of "A Day in the Police Court," and a full-page photograph of those who attended at the Rotary Conferonce at Wellington. Topical and personal sketches and paragraphs make up an unusually interesting number. Tho price of tfao Observer is only sixpence—Advfc.
