SIX thousand legatees. CASE BEFORE THE COURT. LONDON. Feb. 27. Counsel applied to-day to expedite the hearing of the summons to clear up payments to the 6000 legatees of Lord North* cliffe's will, among whom there is considerable unrest. Counsel added that Lord Rothermere had contributed £IOO,OOO to enable the employees to be paid theii legacies without delay. The Judge refused the application, as, he said, it was not a matter of urgency. He felt, strongly that the case should be allowed to take its ordinary place on tho list.
