DAVIS CUP CONTESTS.
AUSTRALIAN COMPETITORS. FOURTH REPRESENT ATI Vfe URGED Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 9. A movement is afoot to induce the Tennis Association to send a fourth player to contest for the Davis Cup, Players are available, but the question of expense stands in the way. Upon tho initiative of Patterson a fund has been started to meet the expense. A considerable amount has already been subscribed.
