FOOTBALL.
THE RUGBY GAME. GRAMMAR OLD BOYS' POLICY. A meeting to discuss the formation of a Mount Albort Grammar Old Boys' Football Club wan held last evening by the Mount Albert Old Boys' Association. A deputation from the Auckland Grammar School Old Boya' Football Club put several proposals before the meeting and after some discussion it waa pro pored that the Mount Albert old boys should join with the Auckland old hoys until such time as it was considered adviaable to break away. This was carried unanimously. Tho old boys of the younger school will enter junior teams entirely of their own members. Mr. V. R. Meredith remarked that innumerable promising players, both from secondary schools and other clubs, had ruined their football by playing senior grade too early. As a result they got in with a weak club and playing with men weaker than themselves, they faded right out. All hoys should wait for somn time in tho sr*cond or third grade before playing senior A grade, and when they played seniors they should play for a good club.
