PEDIGREE ANIMALS.
INTER.IMPERIAL TRADE. BRITISH ENABLING BILL. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Renter. LONDON. Feb. 10. The House of Commons read a. second time the Importation of Pedigree. Animals Bill. This measure was introduced by the Minister for Agriculture, Mr. E. F. L. Wood, with the object of carrying out the resolution of the Imperial Economic Conference. The resolution referred to urged that steps should be taken to promote interImperial trade in pedigree stock on reciprocal terms, and subject to satisfactory precautions being taken to prevent the introduction of disease. The bill proposes to make the necessarv alterations to, and adaptations of, the previous Diseases of Animals Act.
