THE MIGHTY KEO SPEED WAGON THE MIGHTY REO SPEED WAGON THE Flf I END Ol' I HE HA I ; I, AG E MAN THE FRIEND OF THE HAULAGE MAN.' K a i f a i a. May 5, 1924. Me.-srs. L. A darns and Coy., Ltd.. A uckland. Dear Sirs, - With regard to the "Reo," she has j already made a name ior herself in the j district, and since wo look her over she I has not been idle one day. Even Sunday I parties are anxious now to go for outings ! per "Reo." The Speedometer already . shows just over l'2oo '"liies, and this di.-tat.'.- • has been run without, a, murmur. We are more than pleased with her per- , formanee, and I have not the slightest doubt that the next truck will be a "Reo,' ; and we shall most certainly need another j in the Spring. At present, when things are supposed to be slack, the "Reo'" doesn't stop till well after dark. You may be interested to know that J took an urgent load of 27 cwt. through to Herekino during all thu rough weather when bullock teams refused to work. _ It, was heavy pulling with chains on for at least six miles, through deep mud and. in spite of loose fan belt, the engine absolutely refused to boi! f made the, return journey in the same j lime as the Demonstration 4rip—4l hours.! Now I am quite prepared to tackle anything within reason with her. Please do not think that the truck is being mis-usod, as she is not. She gets every attention, and is not asked to do anything unreasonable. So far she haw never refused to go anywhere, and after the Herekino trip : ! am sure she never will. If anyone wants any information or trials, they need only be" referred to us, as we have to do practically every kind of hauling, work there is. Yours, faithfully. BRENT AND MITCHELL, Per "C. W.
