IRISH REPUBLICANS.
Sir, —I see that a deputation has b<f>rj sent from the Irish Republican Party in Ireland to New South Wales, and, moreover, the members have been given a reception by the Lord Mayor of Sydney. The audience was strongly advised to give the Republican mission the utmost financial support they could. Several toasts were put and carried, but the toast of loyalty to the King was omitted. And these people have *Jie astounding impudence to come to a British colony and collect funds for the purpose of destroying our British Government! I trust these rebels will not be allowed to land in New; Zealand. Loyal Beitisher.
