MAY MEETING PROPOSED. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Friday. At a meeting of the executive of th<s Hamilton Racing Club held last evening, it was decided to apply to the conference for permission to race at To Rapa, on Friday and Saturday, May 8 and S. It is proposed to give f3'200 in stakes for the two days. -\n innovation on the programme will be the introduction of a race under welter handicaps each day. It was further resolved to go straight ahead with several improvements to the appointments at Te Rapa. for the coining meeting.
