PRESERVING THE PEACE. GOVERNMENT'S MEW BILL. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Renter. TOKIO. Feb. 18. The Japanese Government is about to introduce .in the Diet a Public Peace Preservation Bill. This measure is designed to check movements denying the ownership of private property, or intriguing against the State or Administration. It is proposed under the bill to impose terms of imprisonment on offenders ranging from five to 10 years. The biil is meeting with pronounced opposition from. Labour bodies.
