STRIKE IN SHANGHAI.
JAPANESE COTTON MILLS. MOB ATTACKS ON PLANTS. Renter. PEKING. Feb. 18. A strike at a ."Japanese cotton mill •at Shanghai, which began last week, has spread. It has now involved 30.000 workers in .13 Japanese mills. Serious disturbances have occurred. The .strikers attacked the mills and damaged the machinery. They also injured a. number of the Japanese employees.
