FRACTURE MISMANAGED.

LITTLE MAORI SUFFERER. RECEIVED INTO HOSPITAL. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Thursday. A little Maori girl named Marke was admitted to the Waikato Hospital yesterday suffering from a fracture of the left arm, sustained through its being caught in some milking machine belting at her homo near Cambridge, nearly a month ago. The Maoris, who have a dread of hospitals, treated the child in their own way withoat calling in medical aid. The Cambridge police, hearing of the case, instituted inquiries, and found the child's condition to be so bad rbat they brought her to the hospital, where she is receiving proper attention. Her condition this evening was reported to be as favourable as could be expected.
