KING'S INDISPOSITION.

REASSURING bulletin. CHILL CAUGHT AT THEATRF. PUBLIC SYMPATHY AROUSED. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received 7.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. LONDON. Feb. 18. An official bulletin issued yesterday stated that King Georgo was suffering from bronchitis, duo to influenza. It added that there were no complications and that His Majesty's general condition was satisfactory. After the Royal physicians had paid a brief visit to the King in the evening it. was officially announced that there was nothing to add to the previous bulletin. It is understood that His Majesty rested throughout the day. Queen Mary attended a recital given by Faderewski at the Albert Hall in the evening in aid of Earl Haig s British Legion appeal fund. Her Majesty was anxious to return to the Palace, however, and left, the concert at about 9.30 p.m. There was a distinctly sympathetic note in the elisors with which tho audience. and the crowds outside the hall, greeted the Queen. [t transpires that the King caught a chill on Friday evening when he attended a performance at tho Alhambra Theatre. The weather was damp and cold. It has been decided as a precaution to cancel a football engagement His Majesty had made for Saturday. He attended service, in the Palace chapel on Sunday and walked in the garden on Monday, but has not left the Pal ace since.
