Pooley, offering to donate 66ft. of his property in Great North Road for forming part of a, proposed civic square. The offer was accepted with, thanks, and the council agreed to purchase an additional 30ft, A vote of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the lato Mr. C. D. Grey, formerly a member of the old Avondale Road Board.
