MISS TERRISS' FROCKS.

The very delightful charm and personality possessed by Miss Ellaline Terriss were significantly recognised in the spontaneous applause accorded her last evening at Fullers' Opera House, when she appeared with Mr. Seymour Hicks in " Sleeping Partners." Miss Terriss' frocks were charming creations, most becomingly worn. Her afternoon frock of maple brown ma riot to was a sheath-like affair, attached to the front of which was a shirred width which fell from the low waist to tho hem. Two lengths of dark brown fur fell at either side, and tho shoulder cape, which fell to the waist at the back, was also banded with fur. A buttoniere of autumn-tinted flowers was worn on the left shoulder, and a small hat with narrow upturned brim was wreathed with autumn-tinted flowers. A pearl choker and long string of pearls were charming accessories to this smart toilet. A very unusual frock which was quite a distinctive creation was of silver lame. The draped skirt was caught at the hip with a dimante and jade c'asp, and the wide panel from the shoulders, which was looped at the hips, was lined with jade georgette. A beautiful diamond pendant attached to strings of pearls was worn with diamond arid jade earrings. Miss Terriss' wrap was a magnificent affair of brocaded silver tissuo with panels of jade green georgette, and the ruehed collar, which stood high about the ears, was of georgette and silver tissue.
