OBITUARY.
MR. W. W. MORTON. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. 3 CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday. The death has occurred of Mr. W. W. Morton, a well-known stock ■ auctioneer, aged 65 years. The deceased had long association with the farming and stock bysmess. He came to New Zealand to manage the Algidus Run for the late Mr. Neave, and later had charge of the L»k« Coleridge Run. Subsequently ho entered the employ of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. About 15 years ago Mr. Morton left she servic< of that company to join Dalgety anc Qompany, Ltd., with which firm he was associated up to the time of his death. Jle was a keen sportsman, was a prominent member of the Christchureh Golf Club, anc was also a member of the Canterburj Jockey Club.
