ASSISTED IMMIGRANTS.
TWO DAYS' ARRIVALS. TOTAL OVER A THOUSAND. [BY TKIiEGUAPII. —PItESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. No fewer than 1000 assisted immigrants are due to arrive in New Zealand waters within the next two days. Of these, 328 are on board the Shaw, Savill liner lonic, which is expected in the stream at midnight from Southampton, and the remainder, 689 in all, are arriving by the steamer Hororata, due at Auckland at 6 p.m. on Thursday from Liverpool.
