Sydney Eahn started for the hospital with his wife, his brother, and his young son. A drunken driver of another car collided with the Kahn family and sent them over an embankment. All were killed outright, except the mother, who was taken to a hospital, fatally hurt, where surgeons hastily performed an operation.
