RIVAL LABOUR LEADERS.
BRITISH MINERS' OUTLOOK. HODGES REPLIES TO COOK. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 16. Mr. Frank Hodges, in replying to the attack made upon him by Mr. A. J. Cook, secretary of the Miners' Federation, says: "Mr. Cook's venom and spleen will not help the miners, who still look on and want for bread. They cannot live on Mr. Cook's froth. "The mine-owners' reception of my proposal for helping the industry is more significant than the reindy rhetoric of this humble disciple of Lenin."
