The following is a summary of the Northern Wairoa Herd-testing Association's results for the month of January: No. 1 Scheme.—Herds, 75; cows, 1441; average yield, 7<J7lb; test, 4.3; fat, 30.891b. No. 2 Scheme.- —Herds, 50; cows 2385 ; average yield, 6361b.; test, 4.19; fat, 26.641b. Association.—Herds, 125; cows, 3824; average, yield, 6711b.; test, 4.28; fat, 28.711b. In January. 1924, the number of herds was 106; cows, 3070: average yield, 6601b.; test, 4.29; fat, 28.321b.,
