SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP.

AUCKLAND REPRESENTATIVES TEAM DEPARTS TO-NIGHT. The Auckland representative swimmers and water-polo players will leave for Christchurch by the limited express this evening to compete in the New Zealand swimming championship meeting, commencing next Saturday, for the Y. aldhurst Shield. Messrs. J. Clouston, F. J. Boggs and C. A. Edenborough, chairman, secretary and treasurer of the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association, will accompany the team, and the two first-named will represent Auckland at the annual conference of centres during the championships. Mr. Boggs will act as manager and Miss K. Tilsley as chapcrone. Other members are:—Misses h. Stockley, P. Page and G. Pidgoon, and Messrs. D. Pelhain, A. D. Adamson, J. Enwright, E. V. Cunnold, N. C. Stockley, L. Faii'grav, J. Healon, J. Meikle and F. Hedges. Owing to the postponement of the intermediate and junior events the programme nas been amended. Following are details: — February 21.—-One .Mile New Zealand Championship: 100 yds. New Zealand Championship; 100 yds. Ladies' Championship: Men's Diving Championship (first stage) ; New Zealand Water Polo Championship (rounds); 500 yds. Flying Squadron Championship [teams of five). February 23. 800 yds. New Zealand Championship: 220vds. New Zealand Championship; 220 yds. Ladies' Championship; Water Polo Championship (rounds); .New Zealand Ladies' Diving Championship. February 25. —Norden Cup and Interclub Carnival. February 27. 440 yds. New Zealand Ladies' Championship; 440 yds. New Zealand Championship: 220 yds. New Zealand Breasts!roke Championship; 220 yds. Ladies' Breast-stroke Championship; 150vds. Breast stroke New Zealand Championship; Men's Diving Championship (final); Ladies' Diving Championship (final); Water Polo Championship (final).
