DEVONPORT CARNIVAL.
MOTOR-CYCLE POLO MATCH. The Devon port searchlight carnival, which was successfully opened on Saturday evening, attracted large numbers of people again last evening. The Devonport Band was in attendance. Special attractions for this evening include a motor-cycle five-a side polo match organised by the Auckland Motor Sports Club. The event, will be the .first of its kind held in New Zealand and should attract considerable attention. In addition there will be a gymnastic and acrobatic display by the Y.M.C.A. squad, a fancy dress Soccer match, a wireless concert, open-air pictures and jazzing.
